How a supposedly nice lightning-lit sky is ruined at ISO 640

This is what happens when you keep doing math.
It becomes a subject of interest for my phone's camera =)

Long time since I've last posted.
Anyways, I have got a new phone (LG KF 750 Secret) which I've used for 3 weeks, and I think I will be doing it injustice if I don't comment on its functions =)
Hence a comparison with my old phone, the SE k800i.
Its a considerable upgrade from my old phone, and best of all, its free with a plan when I trade in my old phone.
Specifications that outperforms my old phone: 5 megapixel camera with face-detection, video-recording at VGA resolution 30 frames per second in AVI format, as well as the ability to record time-lapse and slow-mo video clips.
While my old k800i sports a 3.2 megapixel camera, video-recording at QCIF resolution 15fps in 3gp format.
The difference?
See below.
Video clip taken at QCIF 15fps.

See the resolution difference?
Even the sound of the latter is recorded in stereo.
Below is a demo of a time-lapse video I took with the KF750. Its in QVGA resolution.
Photography wise,
I would still prefer my old K800i.
First of all, it has a real xenon flash, while the kf750 utilizes a LED flash.
Also, the k750 has the tendency to take photos with a slightly red tinge in the middle of the photo, which i can't explain why.
Secondly, the user-interface for the K800i is so much more user-friendly.
Other than that, the kf750 produces more natural colours, except for the colour of the sky.

Other than that, face-detection comes in rather useful also.
I have always though that face-detection is just a marketing gimmick, by displaying squares around the faces detected and calling it face-detection.
But apparently I was wrong.
After experimenting with the kf750, face-detection really works.
It focuses on the face detected, and adjust brightness to make sure the subject is exposed correctly.
The kf750 also allows for control over ISO values, from auto, 100 to 800.
But of course, photos taken at ISO 800 turns out to be rather "noisy"
Entertainment wise,
the kf750 has its pros and cons.
Watching videos in Divx encoding is indeed a pleasure on the 2.4" screen.
However, it loses miserably in the gaming section.
The games which possess better graphics that I throw inside the phone, they lag.
And this really sucks.
But overall, it still has an MP3 player and FM radio, and the MP3 quality is better than the k800i.
Perhaps the headset that the provide helps a bit also.
